Do these engines come with a manufacturers warranty?
All of our products are genuine products and come with the manufacturers Australia Wide warranty, the warranty period offered differs from each manufacturer, and can be found on our product pages or on the manufacturers website. If the product you have purchased has failed in some way within the manufacturers warranty period, the recommended place to contact is our team at the SEW or the manufacturers customer service team. If they can't resolve the issue over the phone, you will be referred to the nearest authorized service agent who can inspect, service, or diagnose and repair any faults that may be required in order to get your product back to perfect working order. The team at the SEW will always help facilitate the process between the customer and manufacturer if necessary.
Is that a complete engine? Does it come with a carburetor? Does it come with a muffler?
Engines are considered complete unless listed as “shortblock” or noted as missing parts. All engines that we sell, unless otherwise noted on item, come fully complete with a carburetor and muffler fitted. Check each item description, you will find that all smaller engines come with the muffler fitted, but the bigger v-twin models, the muffler is separate.
Do you have a muffler for this engine?
If you need to purchase a muffler for your engine, that's not supplied with the engine,view our muffler range listed under 'Accessories'. If your original muffler looks a lot different you will find that the equipment manufacturer has supplied their own muffler specific for their equipment. These mufflers are typically only available through a dealer for that equipment brand, and you will need to contact them.
Does the engine come with oil?
Engines may have a film of oil inside them from factory testing. They will not have enough oil to run. You will have to add the appropriate amount of oil to the engine prior to running the engine. You will need to check the owner/operation manual to find the correct oil type and amount for each particular engine. We cannot ship engines with oil or oil, due to oil being a hazardous material.
I did not receive a manual with my engine, do you have one?
Many engine manufacturers no longer include manuals with engines. They are almost always available on the engine manufacturer’s website or on our website. Please contact us if you are having difficulty in locating a manual for your engine.
The mounting holes in my engine are not tapped, what do I do now?
Many engine manufacturers no longer tap the mounting holes on engines. Reusing the current mounting hardware is recommended if replacing an engine on an existing application. Self-tapping mounting bolts are typically used when mounting engines to new units, as mounting holes are left blank when engines are manufactured.

Once registered you will be able to purchase any product across the site, and proceed to place an order.
What payment methods do you accept.?
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) Bank Transfer and paypal. You do not need to have an account with paypal to make a payment. If you do have an account with paypal, you can log in to your account on checkout. Our Bank Details are provided at the completion of the checkout.

How do i find out the postage cost for my item.?

Every product listing on our website contains a "Description" Tab which can be found under the product image and pricing. This section contains up to date information on the selected product. Once you have selected an item to buy, simply click the 'Add to Cart' button for the item you wish to purchase. This will add your item to your shopping cart, when viewing your shopping cart you will have a opportunity to select other relevant products and accessories by clicking 'Continue Shopping', or once your finished shopping you can click 'Checkout' to finalise the sale , then proceed to make payment.
How long after placing my order can i expect my delivery.?
